    Here, you can read a list of museums to visit during your cultural journey to Sardinia: a concentrate of art, history and culture, which will allow you to know the hidden and authentic island.

    Citadel of Museums of Cagliari: the museum complex is located in Piazza Arsenale, the entrance to the beautiful district of Castello. In the citadel you can visit many collections: the Archaeological Museum and the "Pinacoteca" (art gallery) are the most famous, but next to them are the Wax Museum and the Anatomical Museum of Art Siamese. According to the British press, a visit to the wonderful Archaeological Museum of Cagliari is worth a trip to Sardinia: here you can admire archaeological finds of great value, such as the beautiful exhibition dedicated to the Giants of Mont'e Prama.

    Municipal Gallery of Modern Art of Cagliari: the neoclassical building that houses the museum is located in the beautiful setting of the Public Gardens of Cagliari, the city's oldest urban park, full of green paths, trees, statues and fountains. The Municipal Gallery is home to prestigious works, made by Italian artists between 800 and 900 century. The Municipal Gallery of Modern Art of Cagliari allows you to discover a piece of paradise nestled in the city.

    Sardinian Ethnographic Museum: it is located on the hill of San Onofrio in Nuoro, it represents the biggest Sardinian ethnographic exhibition. Currently, the Ethnographic Museum houses several collections illustrating the customs of the Sardinian tradition: jewelry, bread, masks, weapons, work tools dating back to 800 and 900. A special attention is dedicated to the exhibition of sardinian traditional costumes, worn by mannequins and placed on a huge platform in the shape of Sardinia and located at the place of origin.

    Man – Art Museum of Nuoro: it is located in Via Sebastiano Satta in Nuoro, it has about five hundred works of Sardinian artists of the 20th century, as Francis Ciusa, Costantino Nivola and many others. Visit the museum to immerse yourself in contemporary sardinian art.

    Sanna Museum of Sassari: it is located in the central street of Sassari called Via Roma and it is the main museum institution of Northern Sardinia. The museum includes several collections of archaeological finds, divided by historical period, from the Neolithic to the Middle Age: a unique opportunity to travel the history of Sardinia and know the most important archaeological sites.
