    Arbatax is a seaside resort located on the eastern coast of Sardinia, included in the Commune of Tortoli, which is 4 Km away from town. Arbatax is famous for its red rocks, a huge natural monument that emerges from the sea just a few steps from the Beach of Arbatax.

    Arzachena

    In ancient times Arzachena was called Turibulum due to the huge mushroom-shaped rock located at the entrance of the town. During Spanish domination, the small village started to depopulate because of continuous raids and plagues, only in 1700 was evenutally repopulated.

    Since nuraghic period (1800 BC), Barumini was an important center, as evidenced by the existence of the archaeological site of Su Nuraxi. Later it was occupied by different nations: the Punic, Roman and Spanish. Currently Barumini is a quiet town of Sardinia.
