Reach the National Archaeological Museum, the most important archaeological museum of Sardinia, where they are preserved precious exhibits, including fragments of the Giants of Monte Prama. Go through the Porta Cristina, and then walk in the Castle District, the historic heart of the city, located in the highest part of Cagliari. Walking through the narrow streets of Castello arrive to the Cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta and Santa Cecilia, built in 1200 and the Bastion of Saint Remy, ancient monument and magical place that offers a spectacular view over the city, from the port of Cagliari to the surrounding hills.
